Chatsworth, CA – June 22, 2011 – Dytran Instruments, Inc. has introduced the 3274A series of miniature, low profile, IEPE piezoelectric accelerometers designed to mount in spaces typically inaccessible to other types of accelerometers. Available in three different models with sensitivities of 5 mV/g, 10 mV/g and 25 mV/g, the 3274A series feature a shear sensing element packaged in a lightweight, teardrop titanium housing. Units are ideal for the measurement of shock and vibration of very small, lightweight objects such as printed circuit boards and board-mounted components. STMicroelectronics Makes 28 nm CMOS Process Available Through CMP


Geneva, June 15, 2011 -- *STMicroelectronics (NYSE:STM) and CMP (Circuits Multi Projets®) today announced that the CMOS 28 nm process from STMicroelectronics is now available for prototyping to universities, research labs and companies through the silicon brokerage services provided by CMP. The introduction of the 28nm CMOS process builds on the successful collaboration that has allowed universities and companies to access previous CMOS generations such as 45 nm (introduced in 2008), 65 nm (introduced in 2006), 90 nm (introduced in 2004), and 130 nm (introduced in 2003). CMP is also offering 65nm and 130 nm SOI (Silicon-On-Insulator), as well as 130 nm SiGe processes from STMicroelectronics. For example, 170 universities and companies received the design rules and design kits for the 90 nm CMOS process, and more than 200 universities and companies (60 % in Europe, 40 % in Americas and Asia) have now received design rules and design kits for ST's 65 nm bulk and SOI CMOS processes.
