Part 3. Data Acquisition Methods for Sensor Systems


Abstract. The 3rd part includes main definitions for data acquisition (DAQ) systems, data-loggers, DAQ boards, etc. Two classical data acquisition methods (method with time-division channeling and method with space-division channeling) and some advanced methods are discussed. The frequency-to-digital converter (FDC) - to - microcontroller interface is described. Different DAQ architectures are reviewed. Main errors of DAQ systems description takes an important part in this section.
